JUST IN TIME…

The entire year I can give you lists and lists with presents that I would like to get. But when that festive month has begun, in which I’ve got to make at least three wish lists (it’s also my birthday in December…), I somehow never know what to ask. Fortunately, I kept a memo in my telephone to which I added everything I liked as soon as I first saw it. In case you don’t feel particularly inspired for St Nicholas, then feel free to draw inspiration from my wish list:

1. To wear: Zadig & Voltaire thigh high boots

Every woman should own a pair of over-knee boots in her closet. For years, I’ve been looking for the perfect black pair and my quest was finally completed when I found these. Hallelujah!

2. TO WATCH: CK WATCH

This CK watch looks great with my Christmas outfit. I prefer to wear the matching necklace around my wrist.

3. To ride: Chopperdome

Day in, day out I race through Amsterdam on my bike. Unfortunately, my bolide gets stolen about two times a year… But when my ‘dream bike’ is realised, it will be too striking to get stolen. You’ll get an exclusive look at the first draft from Project 346 by Carolien. Can you see me take off?

4. To make up: Bobbi Brown lipstick

I don’t want anything other than Bobbi Brown’s lipsticks ever since I got introduced to them on set. They feel so soft and the warm, dark tints perfectly match this wintry weather.

5. TO READ: ANTI-GLAMOUR

Such a divine book to read and flip through in your sweatpants with a hot cup of coco during these holidays. With gorgeous photos, crazy anecdotes and beautiful stories taken from the lives of Holland’s two best actresses.

6. To eat: Puccini

On evenings like these I think I’m allowed to stuff my face with candy, but only of the best quality. Puccini is my favourite chocolatier; the bonbons are little artworks on their own. I’ll hopefully find a box like this in St Nicholas’s bag tonight…
