BRUSH TILL YOU BLUSH
The honour is bestowed upon me to enjoy a makeup session by a pro every now and again. And I can tell you, I’ll look about one hundred times, correction, one hundred and thirty times better than when I go about doing it myself. Of course that is largely due to their talent, experience and knowledge, but I’ve learned that it’s also because of the tools they use. In order to rule out coincidences, I turned to this set of brushes.
Primarily, it’s divinely petit of size and so you can take it along in your work bag for a quick touch-up.
Trust me, when you apply foundation with a special foundation brush, your makeup will enter your pores more deeply, which creates an increased natural effect. Make sure that you brush in a lifting motion (so up) and make sure that you even out the nose, and lo and behold a professional result.
Right, Cara Delevingne might be a different story, but your eyebrows will definitely get more volume if you use an eyebrow brush. A bit of eyebrow powder and some gel and you’ve got a brow to be jealous of.
You’ve got two brushes for your eyeshadow. One for the more precise work (with which you can draw a very thin line above your eyelid) and another one to use on larger surfaces to, for example, blend two colours.
Don’t forget a lip brush of course (your lipstick and gloss will stay put if you use a brush) and last but certainly not least; the Kabuki. Also known as the lifesaver. The big brush with which to apply the Beige de Chanel. A beautiful bronze colour on your cheekbones and you’ll look as if you’ve just come back from a mini trip to St. Barths.
I’d say; go buy them or ask Santa nicely. €91,52 Chanel
