Winter wonders

One of the few things that make the winter bearable are the holidays. It’s cold, you’re constantly slipping, but the world looks like one big Christmas tree. There are lights everywhere, you’re tipsy of mulled wine at two in the afternoon (it’s just like tea), and your fur hat turns everyday into a A/W fashion show. Big department stores all over the world transform their windows in true works of art. New York’s Saks Fifth Avenue has been taken over by yetis and the Parisian Printemps and London’s Harrods take you back to the roaring twenties. We can’t wait to see de Bijenkorf’s Christmas window.
