“Hey Amsterdam! Khloe is coming!” the reality star tweeted. She’ll launch the Kardashian Kollection for British fashion brand Lipsy in the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. Madhouse guaranteed, because the Kardashians have gained a reputation not unlike many extremely popular pop stars. But what did they actually do to deserve such fame? Besides a couple of failed songs, films and marriages, little has happened, right? We’ve taken the liberty to list them:

In 2007, Kim Kardashian’s and former boyfriend and singer Ray J’s sex tape leaked. A reality series was born (for Kim to show the world what she looked like with clothes on) and the series became an instant success. They had to pretend to actually be doing something with their lives and so Kim, together with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé, started the clothing store Dash. They even have shops in L.A, Miami and New York nowadays. The girls also launched a shoe brand, a perfume, a cosmetics line (which launched a new product yesterday) and even a tanning line with tanning products. Whether they have a sense of style is doubtful, but successful business women they most certainly are. And that we respect.
