– Model of the Year –

GEORGIA MAY JAGGER

Now that 2013 is almost finished, we all look back to the past year. What were high lights and low points? Who were the winners and losers? It results in interesting discussions at Amayzine HQ, but we spoke about who we thought was Model of the Year, and rather quickly agreed unanimously.

If your father is the frontman of The Rolling Stones, your mother a 70s supermodel and you carry the name Georgie May Jagger, then you can safely say that you were born cool. Naturally, this isn’t a guarantee that you’ll manage to create something out of your life, but aged 17, Georgia followed her mother’s footsteps by posing for the Hudson Jeans campaign (naked, at that). We could also have said then that a star was born. That big mouth with gapped front teeth, that amazing hair, those green eyes. Lovely! But it’s her radiance that captivates. Endless amounts of sex appeal, rock ’n roll courses through her veins, yet always stylish.

Georgie was elected Model of the Year by the British Fashion Awards, and participated last year in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, and worked for Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, Versace, and Rimmel. She also studies photography in New York. In other words, she’s about to properly take off and become one of the most desired models of the moment. The sky seems to be the limit.

We of course wondered, when seeing such an incredible beauty, what she does in return. She’s got very good genes without a doubt, but these things don’t just happen just. Mother Jerry Hall soon taught her that she had to drink lots of water, and never to leave the house with less than SPF 30. She also washes her face every night before going to bed, and she treats her long locks regularly with olive oil. She also eats healthily and moves a lot. “I love fruits, eat lots of protein rich foods, and green vegetables. (…) I don’t like to go to the gym. I want to do something fun. I like to swim, to ride horses or to take long walks on the beach.” Georgie also says that she always gets enough rest at night. A lot more well-behaved than to her parents, it seems.
