Redheads Rule

Red hair is a phenomenon this fashion season. Do you want to count in the fashion scene? Then die your hair red. Grace Coddington, Karen Elson, but also our very own Harriet Calo and Simone Dernee all participate in this red rage. And it’s easier than you’d think. Of course you can run to the hairdresser and undergo an official colouring session. But that’s so invasive besides being incredibly time consuming and expensive. You should rather turn to colour foam. Just for fun during an evening. I’m not that brave, though one time, Leco van Zadelhoff turned me into a honey blonde PC kitten. My boss loved it, but the butcher thought my husband had traded me in for a younger model, and cars stopped spontaneously to let me cross the street. And that was when I understood that the term head turner really existed. No matter how sexy and feminine, I’ll always be a brunette. Perhaps even a somewhat demure brunette. But I’m seriously debating whether to dip into the red adventure. Because blondes may have more fun… Reds rule the world.
