9 places that you have to be during VFNO
Of course it’s been marked in your agenda in big letters for three weeks already, and tonight it’s finally happening; Vogue Amsterdam is rocking with her Fashion Night Out. Just like last year, the sun is on their side and it promises to be a long and lovely evening. You might be a little bamboozled by all the places to be, so we’ve made a selection of the best things to do.
Opening VFNO – The Bijenkorf 18 pm
What exactly will be happening is still Top Secret but it will be big. You can count on the Vogue ladies and The Bijenkorf team for that.
Viviënne Westwood and Coco Chanel
If you’re going to The Bijenkorf anyway, why not buy the two Vogue books, one about Viviënne Westwood and the other about Coco Chanel. On sale from today.
By carriage to the PC Hooft street
After this wow opening, you could go to the PC Hooftstraat by Moët & Chandon carriage, with a glass of bubbly to keep you company. If you miss the carriage, don’t worry you haven’t missed the boat, because there are always the Mercedes Benz cars and the Tommy Hilfiger yellow cabs that can get you there in style.
Vogue Flower bulbs
Hurry, hurry to the Hobbemastraat because the doors to the Vogue Souvenir Shop open at 19pm. What can you buy there? Vogue clogs, Vogue flower bulbs and other tourist paraphernalia with a stylish twist. Editor-in-chief Karin Swerink and Zoë Karssen will be there to sell the VFNO shirts that Zoë designed.

You can have photos taken of yourself at the H&M on the Dam in a cool H&M outfit. The best looks will be placed in Vogue, so who knows you may just be Vogue’s Next Top Model…
Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton…
Almost all the luxury brand boutiques on the PC Hooftstraat are doing something special. Hermès will be decking their store out in a very special way, Louis Vuitton will be showing off their new bags and the newcomers La Perla, Dior and Prada will all be doing their very best to impress.
The after party of course
