A list of the best catwalk music

What the FROW dances to

Music makes or breaks. I walk out of shops if they’re playing extremely loud music and I won’t return to a restaurant if we cannot talk over the bass. But a love scene in a movie is nothing without a sad song. A petit chanson improves sport, a glass of red wine and cheese, an open fire, sex, most things.

Music at a show means a lot. Some shows hire special music-composers that compile catwalk sounds. Look at Victoria’s Secret where Neyo, Rihanna or Seal play live on stage to whip everyone into a frenzy. Without them it would be a lot more boring. Oh and it can also go totally wrong. I remember all too well how I wanted to run away from the Custo Barcelona show because the music was so terrible. And no, the clothes did not make up for it.

Luckily the composers from this year got it right and made our feet dance during Fashion Week.
