Rick Owens doesn’t shy away from a bit of controversy. Last fashion week, he put Real Women from the Bronx on the runway. His anti-statement led to mixed reactions. Some praised him for his message, others almost choked on their champ when they saw so much flesh and so little runway experience. Rick’s male fashion show in Paris yesterday was edgy as always. The models were part nun, part viking hybrids and at other times extremely sexy with long, straight hair. The clothing was, as always, refined toughness like only Rick Owens knows how to do.
