Caroliens Fast Lane Life
- Last week were the last couple of days before the rehearsals begin of a new play ’Op de bodem’ at the Orkator. I’d planned my days with girlfriends, some business appointments with the press for Toscaanse Bruiloft, a beauty day and I did some shopping. Here’s my week.
- You’d think this is a sweet teddybear, but no, it’s an iPhone case. I bought it in Thailand with twelve other funny cases. This is really the most hilarious one from my personal collection.
- Finally, my custom designed bike is ready. Two months ago I thought of an idea together with the brand 346. I really wanted a leopard bike, and I made some sketches by means of example. They started right away, and here’s the result! The bike’s incredibly light, and bikes absolutely delicious.
- I had a great beauty day with my friend Jolanda van den Berg. We got a workshop and treatment at Imedeen. A gorgeous beauty brand with vitamin supplements for the skin. Your skin will be nourished from the inside out. I’m definitely going to try it out. I also got a skin test and the results were above average. Perfectly hydrated and in good shape. Great news, don’t you think?
- My best friend, who’s expecting a girl, had a baby shower. The theme was ‘her favourites’. She’s absolutely addicted to McDonalds’s mayonnaise, so we’d made fun paper bags with a dab of their mayonnaise. There were a lot of healthy spelt sandwiches in funny hamburger boxes and the mommy to be is addicted to Tony Chocolonely, so we had that in overabundance. Masterpiece of cake made an incredible pie in the shape of a Chanel bag. Her favourite designer.
- Just before having to rehearse daily again, and so leaving me with little spare time left, I dashed to the 9 streets in Amsterdam. Luckily, there was a sale so I stocked up. I succeeded at Collective Space on the Wolvenstraat. I bought this top and jacket from Tiger of Sweden.
