This such great weather this week, Carolien had to do some summer shopping, lie in the sun, grab drinks on a terrace, but also work really hard. Join Carolien in her fast lane life…

1. I had a day off on Sunday so I felt obligated to enjoy the sun 24/7. I began at Strand Zuid together with Marly and ended up at Palladium’s terrace for their praised salad. With chips!
   
2. My luv made me so envious with all his photos of the film festival in Cannes. But he comforted me with the best souvenir imaginable: a box of La Durée macaroons
   
3. I couldn’t refuse to go shopping for s new summer look with this summery weather. The damage? Turquoise Rayban sunglasses, a golden watch from Guess, and a new summer bag from Philomijn.
   
4. I hosted a special charity event yesterday near the Belgium border, named ‘Aan Tafel’. The profits went to foundation Gijsje Eigenwijsje (who offer families of ill children a holiday in Brabant), and The Jack Rabbit foundation (which try to transform hospitals in children friendlier places).
5. A lot of restaurants opened their door this weekend during the Restaurant week. My friend had a beautiful pop-up restaurant called Emilie’s Alley at Amsterdam’s cutest courtyard. She’d also prepared the most delicious dishes. Lentil salad with goat cheese, almonds and green asparagus. I’m addicted to desserts so I couldn’t refuse tasting all the desserts. My favourite: the ‘Fanfuckingtastic chocolate cake’.
