Brazil, Ipanema Beach. Marc Jacobs celebrated his birthday in the Fasano Hotel and made good use of the famous beach for a healthy dose of see-and-be-seen.
Dress code
Swimming trunks with enough room for a tent, a well toned body, boy-candy a la ex-boyfriend Harry Louis and an entire comic book’s worth of tattoos. Yes that is indeed SpongeBob SquarePants and a scene from Poltergeist. Fashionable irony, obviously.

“The trip was a disaster”, Marc said in W. “I turned fifty, so it didn’t count. That’s why I immediately booked another holiday. St. Barts this time. Beach house with marble floors, very strange. The dog hated it.”
