After we wrote last week that we didn’t really see any results, we were punished unmercifully tough with three extremely intense workouts. So we won’t say it again. Jeezzz, such a big difference! We’re already sort of done! Boy oh boy I feel fit and strong, it’s unbelievable. No, but seriously, I think I can already see some improvements. Especially in the morning because at night, after having eaten all day, I feel really bloated. I’m having a hard time with not eating candy. Here at the office, food is found everywhere. Small containers with biscuits, mini mars bars, you name it and it’s here. And I have a hard time saying no so sometimes I accidentally take a bite. Not. Allowed. To. Anymore. Here’s the week in bullet points:

  • Last weekend was King’s day which really didn’t escape our notice. Jet wrote on Monday that she ate everything she felt like, and so did I. Tuesday was our first post King’s day workout and we were as fit as a wet newspaper. We usually start the workout with 3x 150 times of skipping rope jumps and we were sweating already at jump 30, turned red at jump 100, and turned purple and sweated like a pig after our third 150. Oops. Alcohol’s really bad for you.
  • Last Thursday, Amayzine celebrated its 6 month anniversary and Josselin treated everyone to muffins. Not so killer body proof though so good. And six months! The perfect occasion, right? Right????
  • Jet hung out at Venkel which is really her new hangout. “I’ll never cook again.” She ate “Spring jitters” and developed an instant case of, yes, spring jitters. The ingredients: chickpeas, green peas, radish, avocado, dried apricot, and parmesan cheese. With cress, mint, and a lemon vinaigrette. So good!
  • I’m really proud of my latest breakfast ritual discovery. I have breakfast every morning with skin quark, sliced apple, some berries, blackberries, a banana or other kinds of fruits. On top of this I sprinkle some goji berries, chia seeds, linseeds, swirl everything et voila, breakfast’s ready. It tastes delicious, feels incredibly healthy, and it’s also enormously satiating. Though I do feel like taking bites of Instagram, but who cares really?
  • I wanted to go swimming. I haven’t got that far besides for checking out prices (affordable) and timetables (doable), but still, I plan to do it which already feels so good.
  • Jet wants to play squash together with Joss so we’re hitting the track. Now I’m terrible with hitting balls so I’m only soso enthusiastic.
  • By the way, as final blow, we’re starting with a weeklong detox, same Jet and Joss already did before. I’m absolutely terrified.
