We’ve been going at Destination Killer body for three weeks now, and seen that we’re rather impatient toddlers, we think it’s such a drag that we see zero results. No, I didn’t expect to get a six pack after one week, but a bit of contours (like they call it) would’ve been nice. Right, nothing of that and the road to a six pack seems endless. In order to stay on the right track, I haven’t eaten bread for about three weeks. Though I’ll admit that sometimes I fail this resolution on the weekend, but I usually eat strictly Killer Body worthy: rice crackers, salmon, hüttekase, salads, and every now and then some hummus. I still drink alcohol (life’s supposed to be fun), though last week I didn’t drink a lot. The week in bullet points:

  • Our boxing coach will go on a holiday end May and to make sure we’ll continue working out he’s arranged for a sub, who already dropped by this week for a quick introduction. Which meant each of us had a personal boxing coach for a whole hour which was rather intense. Shaking arms and vehement muscle aches were the result.
  • Jet already wrote about it last week, but I’ve started binging super foods. Chia seeds, goji berries and what have you, I sprinkle it all on my low-fat quark (with bits of fruit) and I suspect it doesn’t make me particularly thin but very healthy, and that’s worth something too.
  • I think I did okay in the kitchen. For those who watched Amayzine TV last Saturday, you’ll know that I’m quite a culinary disaster and prefer takeaway, but that, unfortunately, isn’t killer body proof so I can’t avoid cooking. Fish, vegetables, woks, well, it’s really not that difficult.
  • Thursday we went to Louis Bollee’s goodbye party armed with pink Amayzine microphones. Which was quite exciting and nervous as I was I took a croquette by accident. Perhaps two. Or three, just maybe.
  • When we were done filming we were really knackered. Spending the evening with a camera focused on you is just incredibly tiring. The next morning we had to crossfit at 07:30 and the thought of that made us nauseous. We couldn’t be happier when we got a text from our instructor at 06:00 “I’ve been awake the entire evening so I’m going to skip today.” SLEEPING IN LATE!
  • Well, a bit, we still have to go to the office today. And not just any day. We had to film all day for Amayzine TV. This time I can hardly eat because of the nerves and Jet isn’t that enthusiastic during lunch either.

Monday’s always a new beginning of another week full with opportunities. We’re going to work out again, eat healthily, drink little — you know. Though this weekend’s going to be difficult because it’s eastern. Here’s a tip: remove the yolk from your eggs. It’s full of fats and eating the egg whites is really healthy. Killerrrrrrrrr body!
