Four ‘o clocker for the skin
You know how it goes. A day full of meetings (because that’s what Tuesday’s are for), and then you run to the loo. The woman in the mirror is not the same woman who greeted you this morning. Rather a Halloween version of yourself. Bags have wrestled their way through the concealer and the rest of your make-up has gone fishing.
Time to bring out the first aid kit and you’ll see: within two minutes you’ll look fresh again and everyone will say: “What have you done?! You look so good!”
Here we go.
- Close your eyes and spritz with a lovely facial water. Rosewater always perks me up, I bought one in New York but they have great sprays at places like De Tuinen or any other good parfumerie.
- Apply some Dior Skinflash Primer with vigour. This primer gives your skin more glow via tiny reflective particles. Apply well under the eyes (those bags are greedy) and then in an upward movement under your jawline. This will work wonders.
- Another wonder product: Estée Lauder Cooling Eye Illuminator. This one has a lovely cooling effect (which you need after a day like today) and camouflages tired eyes in a fabulous way.
- Add a bit of eyeliner so you look fresh again.
- Take out your best brush (the Kabuki by Chanel is fabulous and Leco is another brush master) and apply some Le Beige from Chanel. Guerlain and Dior also have the most wonderful bronzing powders. A little on the apples of your cheeks and then a bit of powder on your forehead, nose and chin.
If you have any more meetings on the agenda: you will be the star, bet you? If you have everything else in order that is, but I’m assuming that you do.
