GENIUS FLIGHT, RIGHT WHAT I NEEDED

Booking a holiday with seven friends is quite the chore. First of all, answering the question of ‘where to go’ took a few days. Ibiza it was. A week later we cancelled it. Four days weren’t enough and a waste of the money (Ibiza’s incredibly expensive). Not everyone has equal amounts to spend, of course. Some go on a holiday with their boyfriends, others just bought four tickets to Lowlands, I’m caught up in a move and prefer to spend my money on a new sofa rather than a really expensive holiday.

Flying to the French sun was on sale and so we chose that. Recognise this problem? I’m going to make your life a lot easier and more fun. Yesterday, I was surprised by the stewardess of Genius Flight at our HQ.

She gave me a small suitcase and asked me whether I was ready for take off. I was a bit overwhelmed, but hey, who doesn’t feel like a trip. Genius Flight is a website that doesn’t search filtered by location but rather budget. Just type in how much you’d like to spend on a ticket and which date of departure you prefer. The computer then searches for destinations that match your budget. Easy right? This also gives you great ideas where to fly to. I could be in Copenhagen next month for less than 100 euros. I’d never thought of that, and it sounds pretty good. Wouldn’t you agree?

I’m going to treat myself to a trip. Now I only need to find someone willing to accompany me.
