Just one and a half more days and part of the Amayzine-team are stepping into a plane headed to New York. Suitcases are being packed mentally, weather reports being checked and the last show requests are out the door. Of course we’ll be keeping you up to date with everything, in fact you’ll go crazy from all the contact! There are many roads to Rome though, and because we’re lovely people we’re sharing some other websites with you to pop in your favourites folder and to help keep you up to date on everything NYFW.
The mothership of all fashion sites. All shows can be found here, as well as party reports, trend reports, interviews, everything. There are complete reviews on each show, but one small downfall, they’re not very critical. Gorgeous boys with no negative words to be heard.
We all love Leandra Medine, from her writing style to her shoes. During NYFW, she’s the star of the show and of street-style and everything is noted down on her website in her lovely, honest tone. Lot’s of photos, we like.
More serious as far as content is concerned and perfect for those who want to know more than you can find on Style.com. Longer, extremely well written pieces, less photos (although there is always a photo stream by each show review), lots of history and depth.
The official Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week (the full name) site, and if there is a live stream to be seen, it’ll be here.
Women’s Wear Daily, almost as complete as style.com but WWD is just a little funnier and cosier.
The DKNY PR-girl writes hilarious and sarcastic pages about what it’s like to work in PR during Fashion Week. Must follow.
Yesss, the very best and coolest website that obviously could not be left off the list.
