CANNES BE MORE PRETTY

Oh Cannes. Cannes you’re so pretty! We just survived all the fashion violence of the MET Gala though now we get to enjoy endless beauty and gorgeously sewed dresses. L’Oréal paraded all their show ponies with Blake Lively up front. Her first look was a burgundy red Gucci dress, her hair tightly pulled back, subtle jewellery and perfect makeup — I can look at her for hours. Her second look was just as beautiful. White Chanel Couture, long wavy blond hair and white pumps. I’d almost become a lesbian. And Liya Kebede in an ultra short and ultra sexy Roberto Cavalli, Zoe Saldana in Victoria Beckham, and Sonia Rolland in Zuhair Muhad.

Though a critical note for Karlie Kloss. She appeared in some kind of Valentino curtain, semi transparent but metres of too much fabric, I just don’t understand it. It’s odd because Karlie’s the best on the runway, though she manages to dress wrongly at red carpet events. Such a waste. And hurrah hurrah for Jane Fonda in Elie Saab. The woman’s 167 years old (or something like that), but looks fitter than I do. Goddamn. Perhaps it’s because of videos like these which I should also try. Next year Cannes? I’m there.
