LOVELY LENNEBELLE

I love fine jewelry. There is a reason for my wrist being laden with bracelets. Many, many bracelets. They all have sentimental value. I often get given bracelets to mark special occasions or moments, and I always bring home a souvenir from holidays.

One of my bracelets is from the brand Lennebelle. Lenneke Kooijman, the fabulous woman behind the label, has immaculate taste and knows exactly how to get me wearing them. She launched her brand almost 3 years ago and it reads like a scene from a romantic novel. She once bought a charm at an antique market, made a chain for it, (self made from threads from the wool shop in the neighbourhood) wore it and got loads of compliments. Tadaa…the idea was born.

The collection is made up of fine silver and gold plated jewelry, everything from bracelets, necklaces to earrings and all with a little something extra. Sweet little beads or cute tassels made from threads. I want to share her new collection with you. Beautiful summer colours with yellow gold, tropical green, off-white, gemstones and those adorable tassels. Would look amazing on a tanned skin.

Oh yeah, before you start paging down for inspiration or clicking and buying, I should tell you that Lenneke will soon be bringing out a range for the mini-me’s in the world. Together with Hyshil Sander. You know her, that lovely illustrator who shared her secret addresses with us in Amayzine’s Black Book. Hyshil also recently refreshed Lennebelle’s branding, and with two such creative and inspiring women on the job it is sure to be a huge success. I’m looking forward to it.
