POPPY DELEVINGNE

We’ve been talking about getting married, weddings, and other such things for quite some time now here at the HQ. No, the editors aren’t that keen on getting married now (though Jet prefers to say ‘I do’ sooner rather than later, though she’s still missing a husband to be), but a lot of people we know are getting married. I had a wedding last week, Josselin Saturday, and our sales director Danielle has a wedding in two weeks. Poppy Delevingne, Cara’s sister, also got married. She said ‘I do’ to James Cook, a tall blond god from a good family, naturally.

Poppy made all the girl hearts in the world beat faster because she didn’t wear a standard white dress, no, Poppy married in Chanel Haute Couture. Sigh. Deep sigh. The dress consisted of two parts, a sort of short dress with a transparent dress underneath. Her hair shiny, wavy curls and a subtle veil combined with a glowing bride (forgive me the sentiment) resulted in something incredibly beautiful. And you know, the longer I look at the dress, the nicer I think it looks. I’ve never been the type of girl that dreamt about weddings, but if I’m going to then please in Chanel Haute Couture.

For those about to get married and still in need of inspiration, I made a list of the prettiest dresses of net-a-porter. No such plans? Well, it can’t hurt to have a look at beautiful dresses.
