I really like the way the classic MaxMara combines its core values with approachable trends. This spring, the collection is popping out of the stores. You see great 2014 versions of polka dot dresses (with the dots standing apart quite substantially, looks great and different) and I also love their colour blocking with orange and pink. I rummaged through their racks for the premiere of The Other Woman, and I collected this great ensemble. The rather stiff, flaring skirt with pleat in the middle gives me a Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy feeling. The top, also from MaxMara, is subtly see-through. I like to wear a bra underneath that you’ll notice so I chose for a leopard version of the Italian Intimissimi (a real recommendation, it’s affordable and they’re got great knickers). The coat, the coat, the COAT. It’s gorgeous. The belt with its subtle gold finishing topped everything off. And my CHANEL pumps (fit like a… shoe), CHANEL cuff, and Dior clutch, of course. The earring is from Isbael Marant. I lot the other one. I’m happy that one earring is the rigeur these days.
