Living with Marilyn Monroe

You can! I mean, not with her (duh), but at her place. In her house. It’s for sale. The house is in Brentwood, California and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Monroe bought the place in 1962 but only lived there for half a year, because six months after buying it she was found dead, in the house. It was a good investment though, Marilyn bought it for $90.000,- and the current owner bought it in 2010 for $3,6 million (!). The new asking price is unknown.

Can you imagine living in the house where one of the most famous woman of all times lived and died? I’m not sure if her ghost is the best one to have around you all the time, but it is kind of cool. Fantasising endlessly about all the other legends that came to visit, what kind of amorous meetings she had, what dark thoughts went through her head in the last moments before her death. I’d immediately contact a Derek Ogilvie-type character to find out what stories the walls had to tell. Interested? Check out the website of David Offer Real Estate and make an offer. Don’t forget to invite me for a glass of champagne at your housewarming ok?
