Oscar de la Renta belongs to New York royalty and is best friends with Anna Wintour. His show is a home game. And a party because Oscar knows what women want. And what makes us pretty. His new collection red carpet dresses (funny, really, that an Oscar is just about the purveyor of gowns to Oscar Award visitors) had to be worn by the prettiest models, that much was clear. His show was opened and closed by top model Karlie Kloss. Even though she looked so beautiful in her fur and her dotted evening dress, our hearts skipped a beat when we saw four Dutch girls on the runway. It was the first time this Fashion Week that we saw so many Dutch models together. Bette Franke (who practically belongs to New York nobility as the prettiest denizen of the city), Laura Kampman, and Steffie Soede from Micha Models, and Iris van Berne left behind the prettiest business card.
