OF INSTAGRAM

For those who have ever been on my Instagram page, or perhaps already read this piece, knows that I’m obsessively fanatic about animals, specifically about cats. I really need to control myself and not post photos of my cat Disco all day long because of course I know that few people would actually be interested. A solution for this is to set up an Instagram page for my pet, but even I think that’s a step too far. Though some people think otherwise, especially famous people with enough ego to share with their pets. Please be introduced to the following pets which have more followers than you.

CECIL DELEVIGNE

Cecil is Cara Delevigne’s bunny and has already 48,376 followers even though it’s only been online for 2 days. When I started this article, it were only 46,290 followers so it’s hot. In those two days ten photos were posted, each with about 10,000 likes. How many do you have?

PETER PAN

Paris Hilton’s chihuahua only posted 5 photos in a couple of months though already had 17,225 followers. Peter Pan’s bio states “I love to party with my mom @ ParisHilton.” I wouldn’t be surprised to find out she actually brings along that dog (which is also a bit of a rat) to the club. Selfie!

CHOUPETTE

A list like this wouldn’t be complete without Choupette, Karl Lagerfeld’s cat. Here at Amayzine we’ve written about it frequently (here and here too) because Choupette kind of has a luxurious life. It flies in private jets, has its own iPad, personal nanny, it’s got everything it needs — and about 12,609 watch and enjoy it all.

MATILDA FERRAGNI-POZZOLI

Chiara and her ex boyfriend Ricardo’s bulldog’s page has been quiet for some time. Probably because of the so-called unbreakable relation between her parents which still broke. Nevertheless, Matilda managed to attract 28,345 followers in 23 photos. And she’s got the prettiest surname ever. So here’s a dog with more followers and a better name than us. It’s just not fair.

SMUSHBALL

But the indisputable winner is Smushball, a Persian Doll Face Cat. Smushball looks like a lion and lives a life most people would like to join. Father Smushball’s Dan Bilerian, poker player and the kind of man all men aspire to be. He’s got a totally insane life with lots of naked women, guns, throwing away money, but also an incredibly fluffy kitty. Smushball only had 159,308 followers when I started this piece and gained about 100 within fifteen minutes.
