PLAN of action: Meet OLIVIA PALERMO

A few days ago, Olivia wrote “Ready for fashion month!” on Instagram. Well, me too, and this time things will be different to last February. For those who were not yet readers, I kept missing her by a hairs breadth, and that while it’s my biggest wish to have a photo taken with her. To put it mildly, I’m quite a fan. As you’re reading this, I’m in a plane headed for New York accompanied by the following battle plan, because this time I will succeed.

• Set alerts for when she posts something on Twitter or Instagram.
• Patrol all the Big Shows, especially Carolina Herrera. She designed her wedding dress, so I have a strong suspicion that Miss O.P. will be sitting front row.
• Book a nail appointment at Ten Over Ten Nail Salon, because that is her favourite place.
• I’m taking up Ping Pong because that is her hobby. Seriously. She plays it here so you’ll know where to find me.
• Visit Topshop on a daily basis. She probably won’t have time for shopping much during the show madness or actually be in one of the most hectic stores in the world, but the fact is that she does wear Topshop and said once in an interview that she visits regularly.
• Go to The Standard. Because it’s a wonderful hotel with an awesome bar (we went a few times last February), but also because it’s the place that Olivia goes to drink coffee, and here it comes, play Ping Pong. So.

Guys, this time it’s going to happen. Really. If I see her walking around, I’m putting my dignity aside and jumping on her for a selfie/ussie or whatever. Wish me luck!
