ONE, TWO, THREE, SMILE

Because we Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest our ways through life, we’re also increasingly demanding when it comes to images. It’s a matter of competition, wouldn’t you like to have better images than someone else? Wouldn’t you? Sometimes it’s just not enough to have an iPhone and fourteen apps with good filters. Besides, if I’m free to speak for myself, I think it’s a bit unprofessional if I’m at an important event, photographing away with an iPhone. And my professional camera is little glamorous, it’s that big.

Problems, problems, problems. But here’s the solution Olympus has a camera with a fabulous vintage look which you can wear sexily across your body, like a handbag if you will. And it takes photos that are way better than the ordinary mobile phone stuff. There are all kinds of great options which enables you to choose different colours, depths, etc.

From Lieke to Liza and Lauren

This just had to be celebrated. So hipster Amsterdam gathered at Spuistraat 172 with early adopters like Lieke van Lexmond, Beertje van Beers, Liza Sips, Sanne Vogel, and Lauren Verster in the lead. Great drinks and finger food were served and you could listen to DJ Bella Hay (that’s right, king Barry Hay’s daughter), and, of course, take loads of photos. Photograph and be photographed, the motto was. There’s an exhibition in the Spuistraat with all kinds of great backgrounds and attributes with which to take the most impressive photos.
