– Look at the bright side with new sunnies-
A perfect excuse behind which to hide your eyes after a rough night or an early wakeup call? Sunglasses, of course! It’s my salvation, not only behind which to hide my watery booze eyes, but also to spice up any random outfit. In order to safeguard my reputation as Follower of Fashion, I often treat myself to new ones. Similarly to clothing, sunglasses are also sensitive to trends and even though they were so glamorous, Prada’s Jackie O styled glasses with curled legs are sooo 2013.
Kind style advices (which frame fits what kind of face) I choose to ignore. I choose a model because I think it’s irresistible. Wearing sunglasses is absolutely the quickest way to make a fashion statement: relative little money shows the world around you that you’re fashion proof. Besides, a bit of extra weight doesn’t matter because glasses always fit… Still, sunglasses are more than just a fashion accessory:
Read the following in order to know everything about frames and glasses to make a good decision…
Protection
Good sunglasses are essential for the protection of your eyes and the sensitive skin around the eyes. They protect your eyes from the sun’s harmful ultra violet rays. Approved sunglasses in Europe wear the CE sign. Which means that the glasses filter out UV rays. The grades from 0 to 4 indicate the glasses’ colour intensity. 0 is, for example, meant for indoors or a cloudy day, CE 2 for great weather, CE 3 for bright lights, and CE 4 for extreme sunlight. CE 3 is usually enough.
Also mind the colour of your glasses:
Grey: weakens bright sunlight and shows colours realistically
Brown: avoids blinding through sunlight
Yellow: it doesn’t show colours optimally.
Green: limits blinding, partially filters out the blue and shows a distinct contrast.
