NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
- Jet’s trying on the most beautiful pumps in the world at Diane von Furstenberg. After hesitating slightly (it’s kind of a serious purchase) we walk to the cash register to pay for these pearls.
- At night after spending a day outside in −8 degrees, we’re now warming ourself in our lovely apartment a.k.a. Amayzine HQ. Glass of wine, MacBook, perfection.
- Snow storm means frizzy hair. The mirror at the Carlyle Hotel is a great help.
- After two days of sun it finally arrived. Snow drizzled from the skies. After the Diane von Furstenberg show, we rushed to the Carlyle Hotel for drinks with the designers from Aquazzura.
- We felt so Carrie Bradshaw-ish thanks to these stairs.
- Sun and tea at the top of our Carrie stairs, everything begged us for a selfie.
- On the last day, we’re brought to the Suitsupply HQ in Soho by a private driver. Such a gorgeous Audi with chilled bottles of water and a very kind driver, it’s easy to get used to.
- On our way to Suitsupply with our private driver, a good moment to prepare the final things. I felt très important with my laptop in my lap.
- The Suitsupply store was a dream. Six floors, tall ceilings, handsome men in suits in every corner, and an amazing roof terrace with a view of Rihanna’s apartment.
- Private fittings are held on this floor in the enormous Suitsupply store
- Handsome men in suits, you see? And there were more. We didn’t mind.
- Every step we took has been recorded carefully by a camera, we think the future is in moving images. Jet turned out to be amazing, we couldn’t get enough.
- When May visits Tommy’s show, we’re staying behind at the Amayzine HQ to work and watch the live stream. Everyone front row.
- Like you could’ve read in this week’s explorer, I met the phenomenon of the street style photographer. Kind of a compliment, but also incredibly scary, all those lenses.
- We’re going to the O&M Hair Salon NYC and get purrdy dos. We left the building feeling like a million bucks.
- Tea and sun at the top of the stairs make us happy.
