She had to run and fly last week, here’s her report.

1. A few New Arrivals got in: light tops, cotton dress, and silk summer trousers with exotic prints. That means I’ve got to arrange for webshop photo shoots and encourage Peter and the interns to put everything online as quickly as possible. I’ll focus on the window display of our offline store. I’ll mix and style everything endlessly until I’m satisfied, lovely.

2. At the end of the day I’m having dinner with all my female colleague entrepreneurs located in my street at Mangiare at the van Oldenbarneveltstraat. Great place, great food.

3 + 4. The sun’s shining brightly n Friday and I’m going to the royal palace the Loo in Apeldoorn. I’m invited by the Amsterdam Fashion Week. It’s an enchanting setting for a lecture on craftsmanship and design by, a.o., Jan Taminiau.

5. I was born in Apeldoorn and my nan lives in a nursing home in Apeldoorn. I’m of course visiting her since I’ll be around anyway. I inherited my love for fashion from her. She started as an in-house model and seamstress. Wearing my sunglasses, she’s instantly a model again.

6. The exhibition about Grace Kelly in the royal palace Loo is definitely worthwhile! Such a style icon…
