SASHA LUSS

One of the most fun conversations I’ll have backstage is with Sasha Luss, the happiest and funniest of all. Apparently, designers share my opinion because take a look at a show and Sasha’s in it. She’s done this fashion circus over 35 times, and great ones at that. Pucci, Dolce&Gabbana, DvF, Versace, Fendi, MaxMara, Moschino, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, and I can name 24 others.

Sasha’s a gemini, studied ballet (like every other well-behaved Russian girl), which undeniably helped her with her elegant walk and twig body. It didn’t take much for her to become one of the better models. Sasha’s been runway furniture for years (some girls choose for posing after a couple of seasons because doing runways means working really hard), but Sasha enjoys it and she does it well. Of course she also does editorials, but the A-list covers stay away. Marie Claire Malaysia (great, but you want Marie Claire UK), and Vogue Russia. I only think of my favourite Russian fondly. Because Amayzine loves Sasha and Sasha… loves us.
