The happiest of all fashion shows is the one from Dsquared2. It’s matters little to designers Dean and Dan Caten whether the show’s scheduled at 09:30. They know how to throw a party regardless of the time. I was once at a show that had ‘festival’ as theme. Beers were opened and lots of dancing in Volkswagen vans that were covered with painted flowers. Eventually, the entire room smelt of beer. I hadn’t had breakfast though that didn’t really matter. This spring summer show the models were allowed to take a seat at the bar, drink cocktails, and even smoke a cigarette. Their clothing was entirely inspired by Hawaiian holidays. Short shorts with high waists, legs that reach the heaven (which, unfortunately, aren’t for sale), straw hats, and lovely heels. That feeling. Divine.
