wear this on father’s day
Just like mother’s day has a dress code so does father’s day. We’re helping you style wise. Five things to remember.
- The third Sunday in June is father’s day. It’s usually nice and warm. So why not prepare a picnic at the park or brunch in the back yard look. Nice and cool but with a layer in the shape of a jacket or vest. Looks sophisticated over the shoulders and will come in handy when there’s another code red.
- Your father wants to be proud of his girl. So sensitive things like belly button piercings, ankle tattoos, your ex’s name on the inside of your wrist, etc. Should be hidden today. Those Prada shoes you’ve paid so much for, which he doesn’t understand, should stay at home too. You’ve got enough, don’t choose something that will lead to a discussion.
- Femininity should be your aim. Because you’ll have dinner (probably more and less healthy than you’d like), I’d advise something loose fitting. A dress with high cleavage that reaches halfway your calves would be perfect.
- Fathers don’t like vulgarities. In any case not when it’s about their daughters. Keep the cleavage high and the skirt long.
- Choose a fresh perfume. Temptation isn’t key today. Think fresh and sweet, braid and flower in your hair, and done. And don’t forget your gift.
