Being a beauty editor, I’ve often styled perfume photos. Besides Chanel there was also another perfume that has a permanent front row seat in those photos, which is Dior’s J’adore. A classic.

The way to the top

I call it a classic but it has only existed since 1999. I believe it was successful quite early on. The bottle’s beautiful because a golden neck and gold coloured eau de toilette just radiates luxury. I used to think that the fragrance was only meant for elderly ladies, but I’ve changed my mind now that I own it myself. It’s a warm fragrance of rose and jasmin, which is very sensual. It’s not elderly lady like at all. Pfew!
