Leco came by our office last week for The Party, to apply a spot of paint and long eyelashes to the team. We liked. We were not at all worried because Chantal, Sylvie, Lieke and our very own May have all been in his chair before, and we knew that we would all look va-va-voom afterwards. When it came to my turn, I was incredibly curious about his beauty stash, even though I had read all about it in his previous talk about beauty. Anyway, guess what came out of his bag? Loads of MAC Cosmetics, Guerlain and lots and lots of brushes. His own tools you understand. And in his own words, his great pride.

According to Leco, you can’t create great make-up without the right tools. “Tools are an extension of your fingers. Without tools you can’t do anything.” Leco presented his new loves to us some time ago. And we’re all in total agreement, because without good brushes you’re nowhere. I used to use a very simple brush from HEMA, only they prickle the skin slightly. Leco’s brushes don’t. They’re made from real hairs and extremely soft. You do need to take care of your greatest pride though. Cleaning them once very two weeks is essential, otherwise you still won’t get a great result. They cost a bit, but hey they’ll last a long time and you’ll look beautiful.
