– Guhl Shampoo  –

As beauty-editor I receive many bottles of shampoo, but if I’m totally honest I am driven by smell. A scent can transport me to seventh heaven. Sorry to be so cliche, but the shower is a mini-spa with all that dirt swirling down the drain.

There is a shampoo that always makes me happy and so has earned a place in my bathroom. My mother always took a beauty package with us on holiday. The you-can’t-survive-without-these package. Sunscreen, after-sun, shower gel and shampoo. The shampoo was Guhl. The shampoo that I am naming an Icon. The scent? Peach. You can’t get more summer than that. Peach-oil, favoured for many a beauty product, is taken from the pit. It is rich in vitamins and minerals so keeps your hair soft and sensual.

You  probably guessed after my sentimental story, that I use this shampoo, with all the memories that come with it. And it’s always summer. Now I know that we are currently enjoying an extra bit of late summer, but we are heading fast and hard towards autumn. Autumn usually brings more frizz to the hair, so it’s fabulous that this new line transforms straw into silk, shiny and glossy with health.
