The empty bottles have been thrown away, all glasses are washed and the office that just a few days ago had been turned into a heaving disco, now smells like green soap. It was Monday and the week could begin again.

No pressing deadline for our digital magazine, no parties, just us and the site. And plenty of visits outside, because the pr-agencies were hosting their press days, so it was Luxottica left, SO-PR right and Jet was even flown to Berlin for two days to test out the newest Nike outfits and sports shoes.

On Tuesday I picked up one of my three girls for a visit to the PC Hoofdstraat. After her first manicure last week, it was time for a luxury shop visit. Danie Bles had organised a get-together in the Ugg store, which was loads of fun. Cara Schiffelers was there with her son Santo, so was Leco with Robbie, Saskia van Langevelde from Vogue and Renate Gerschtanowitz.

My girl was so impressed by the cupcakes with marzipan Ugg booties on them, and I enjoyed being photographed with her by Reinier van der A. On our way home, my little princess asked for Renzo’s pasta, that wonderful Italian on the Van Baerlestraat. But she was already in dream land by the time I pulled onto the Ring road. So I put the passenger chair of Twingo down into sleep position with one supple movement. That pasta could wait for another day. Too many impressions.

I placed my child in my mother’s arms and turned around to go to the Coebergh dinner, where the best Lebanese cook ever, made the tastiest food ever.

The table was filled with friends from the business: Simone Dernee from Marie Claire, Kiki Düren from NU.nl, stylist Bastiaan van Schaik, Martien Mellema from Vogue and I even made a few new friends.

After two ‘ordinary’ days at the office, Friday started with a breakfast organised by Shoebaloo. We celebrated their dangerous, brand new website. Yoghurt granola, a tiny bottle of Moët and an illustration of myself greeted me. The weekend had officially started in my opinion. Cheers!
