I stayed away from the whole smartphone shebang for ages. Seriously, I walked around with a totally broken Samsung D500 (with one of those slide covers) for far longer than I should have, but since a year or two ago and because of the internet on your telephone miracle, I’m a changed person. I’m never without my smartphone. My iPhone and I are inseparable, to the great irritation of those around me. But I’m not the only one in our Amayzine-team, so we decided to take a look at our collective phones to see which apps we use constantly that you might not yet have discovered.

I’ve told you about this one before, by far my favourite app. It tells you what you posted on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and what photos you took on this day last year and the year before. Take care though, because this is a mine field for She With A Broken Heart.

An unmissable app if you live in Holland. The only thing this app does is tell you if and for how long it is going to rain. Easy does it.

A boring but mega handy app because you will never need to search for opening times on websites again; everything is summarised with this one app.

Slightly dangerous of course but let’s be totally honest. A spare moment in the bus, train or tram? Check out what’s just come online. We’re all fans.

This is mostly Jet’s favourite, it’s tucked away in my almost never used folder “food/health”. One day I’ll use it. I will. Honestly.

Okay, not sure if you want to know this or not, but I’ll risk it. Gilt is a site and app where you can find the best designer stuff for crazy discounted prices. Clothing, shoes, bags, accessories but also restaurants and interior things. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Yessss, this one can’t be left out! The best app around. Mwah.
