amayzine goes to new york fashion week

As I’m writing this I’m trying desperately to stop myself my from using caps lock, because what I have to say is enormously exciting. Here it comes: WE ARE GOING TO NEW YORK FASHION WEEK! Okay, the caps lock got turned on, but you must get why I so excited. May-Britt, Peggy and I are stepping into an aeroplane on September 5 and heading to New York for a short week, to document everything NYFW and share it with you. Armed with a laptop and cameras, we’re heading out to find the coolest, newest, most beautiful and inspiring so that we can all be ready for a new season.

We found an incredible apartment (thank the lord for Airbnb), show requests are sent (fingers crossed), appointments are made and outfits are being mentally super-prepared. Despite the trending do-as-little-as-possible to your outfit (hello normcore), which probably also takes hours of thought. Besides normcore is not really my thing, I’m more into the high and heel, but that’s besides the point.

You can count on us to document as many fun things as possible, but we’re also very curious about what you’d actually like to see, read, hear and know about NYFW. So the question, what are you interested in? Lots of street-style? Show reports? Gossip? New York hotspots? Tell us anything, your wish is our command.
