The Day After

– Vogue Fashion Night Out –

Clearly everyone was looking forward to the Vogue Fashion Night Out. Yesterday we wrote about the 9 highlights, but they had to be verified of course. Because we were very busy packing our bags for New York, our interns visited on our behalf. Something that exciting could simply not be missed.

The entire evening was obviously dominated by fashion. All fashion loving Holland, including all Dutch celebrities, gathered in Amsterdam. It was extremely clear that everyone had been preparing their outfits for days. They all looked amazing. You couldn’t stop looking around for one moment, or you’d miss someone in an incredible outfit. The men were not to be done out, as the male population in Holland pulled out all the stops. Actually this alone was enough to fill the entire evening programme.

With a Yellow cab or Mercedez Benz from the P.C. Hoofstraat and then to the Conservatorium Hotel in a Moët & Chandon carriage. Our ladies almost gave the Princess Maxima wave, because it felt a little royal.

The evening was well planned down to the finest details and the champagne flowed freely in all stores. DJs in and in-front of shops, live music on the street, one big party. And we haven’t even mentioned the after party yet. We left this one to the Dutch Celebrities, and judging by the pictures of them with hands in the air and champagne in hand, a good time was had by all. Anyone got any good bits of gossip? We’re waiting for it to turn this report into a full blow story.
