For a while it seemed as if the round toe was going to win the race over the pointed toe, but not so, the pointy toe is back and it’s here to stay. I interviewed the shoe buyer for the Bijenkorf, Katrien Wever for our next magazine issue. She said it’s going to be a peak season. “And I’m very happy about it, because the pointed toe is oh so sexy. Especially with a lovely toe-cleavage (yes it is called that) and extremely high heel. That’s how it is, nothing more to do about it.”
