THEY SHOULD KNOW

During a big Boulevard brainstorm with all their lifestyle experts, I couldn’t resist asking my dear colleagues Fiona Hering, Maik de Boer, and Anouk Smulders what they tantalisingly desire this summer. Because they should know, after all. Of course I’m also sharing my enormous wish list.

Fiona

I’ve got to have the nano heels with fluorescent accents from Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent. Not everyone understands this trend, but that’s what I like about it.

Something else that’s great are those shoes that remind you of those aqua shoes we had back in the day. Simply fabulous.

Lurex socks are affordable and make everything look nicer. Buy them in a distinct colour, add pumps, and you’re done.

Maik

A nice jacket to wear during a lunch on the beach. Everything not to sit bare chested at the table, people!

For women, I’d like to advise to invest in a nice shawl. Tie it around your head on a bad hair day, tie it around your waist when you’re ordering a drink on the beach, and wrap it around your shoulders during a chilly summer eve. 

Anouk

I’m already dreaming of those orange slip ons with print. I can totally imagine how great they’ll look on my bronzed feet.

The floral dress from Jan Taminiau with a bow as belt is also a must-buy.

May-Britt

I already fell in love with Prada’s leg warmers when I was at the show. They complete every look. They don’t come cheap (330 euro), but you’ll make a statement.

The fishnet shirt and matching wrap bra from Gucci also makes me drool. So sexy. I’m going to buy them, I can just feel it. A good incentive to do ab exercises in the morning. And afternoon, and evening.
