SALE! WHERE TO BUY WHICH SHOES AND WHEN?

You probably already know it. It’s hovering in the air, floating around you and you can just tell: sale’s coming. It even already started in some cases. Seen that a closet filled with designer pieces is more than welcome, but the required budget is nowhere near in sight, sale’s your best friend. I’ve got quite a lot of expensive things in my closet, from my Chloé Paraty to 7 pairs of Giuseppe Zanottis, Céline pumps, DvF wedges, Acne dresses and Patrizia Pepe coats. But, I’ll admit, I’ve never paid the full amount. Just a matter of great timing, stalking, and buying them at the right moment. Personally, I’m very good at buying shoes on sale so today, in Tuesday Shoesday, a list with sale dates and which pearls we’d like to obtain. 

A Dutch store in the Amsterdam nine streets. They sell brands like Missoni, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, and Pucci. For those who don’t live in Amsterdam, don’t worry, the sale starts today and also takes place online. My favourites are the Givenchy boots and this beauty from Missoni.

Couldn’t be absent in this list because the Bijenkorf is the place I bought most of my shoes. All the Giuseppes and Célines come from this place. The store kicks off the party at 30 % but that slowly increases up to sometimes even 80 %. I practically live next to the Bijenkorf so I take a daily stroll through it (seriously), but for those who can’t should go to their website. The sale has already started (dot discount up to 30 %) but starting from 17 June it will really go nuts. These uber sexy heels from Santoni are on my wish list even though it’s difficult to choose between these and these studded boots from Chloé.

The pre-sale started but only a limited number of items are available with a discount up to 30%. But put 16 June in your diary because all the floods will open and everything will go on sale. They’ve got brands like Balenciaga, Burberry Prorsum, Balmain, Derek Lam, and Giuseppe Zanotti. These boots from Zanotti (duh) are already sold out in my size, but I’ve put myself on the waiting list were they to get a restock. Otherwise, I’ll just enjoy these Burberry booties, not a problem.

May-Britt and I had the pleasure to have some drinks at the Shoebaloo champaign and get a pre taste of the sale. It’s already long gone started and the most beautiful things are online with unbelievable discounts. What about these Aquazurra pearls? Or these incredibly happy Charlotte Olympia platform pumps? Just saying.

And then there’s the sale supreme, the magnum opus of sales worldwide. The American version has started as we speak though it’s still unclear when the European version will begin. But it’s about to happen soon. So polish up your creditcard and put it beside your laptop because it might just happen you’ll buy these Givenchy sandals.  And you wouldn’t want to miss those. Or these Jimmy Choos which have been spotted on many famous feet and soon perhaps also yours.
