WEDDING OF THE YEAR

If our Liesbeth wasn’t sipping white wine in Vietnam, she would’ve sat next to me. Scouring the internet or browsing on Funda and looking at houses above 2 million (her favourite hobby) or she’d drool over Olivia Palermo and her love Johannes Huebl’s instagram accounts. “I’m in love with both.” She’d squeal. “In love with him and her. Such an incredibly sexy couple.” And she’ll go on and on for quite some time. But I totally understand though, my oh my they’re intensely beautiful and well-dressed. Jet and I sat right opposite Olivia at New York Fashion Week during Rachel Zoe’s show, and we couldn’t turn away our eyes from her and her gorgeous posse.

Fortunately, Olivia and Johannes use their Instagram accounts (he’s got 204 K followers, she’s got 532 K) to treat us to a looksy into their gild-rimmed lives. Selfies taken in their first class seats on their ways to St. Barths (I think it’s extremely sad too), or a great still life of sunglasses with palm beaches in their  reflection, or, like this morning, a clip they made themselves of Olivia darting around with her recently received engagement ring. I’ll turn off my cynical side (because the clip really is too much), and look forward to the most stylish wedding of the year, gorgeous children, and afterwards a glamourous divorce. Oh sorry. I let myself go.
