We’ve started the year healthily again here at Amayzine HQ. We exchanged the fritters, apple beignets, chocolate ginger nuts, champaign and Christmas stollen with tangerines, apples, non roasted nuts, and ginger tea.
Our translator Michel-Pierre let me know that we’re only two months away from spring. Only?? Holy Shit, we need to get to work!
Doutzen seems to join us. Her sister Rens made a delicious veggie soup for the entire family on Saturday, and yesterday Doutzen started her day with a healthy shake. Way to go Doutz!
What do you need and how do you prepare it?
- Half a grapefruit (just eat the other half)
- Half a banana
- A pear. You don’t necessarily have to skin it
- A kiwi
- Goji berries, small handful
- Soaked chia seeds. I usually soak them a day before in water or a bit of almond milk
- A dash of spelt wheat or almond milk.
Mix all the ingredients in the blender and mix. Add a bit of water or milk if you think the smoothie’s a bit too thick.
