When Ellis met net-a-porter.com

Ellis Faas is the Patt McGrath of the Netherlands. Or rather, from the Netherlands, because her success has long since surpassed country borders. Vogue Paris recently referred to her as “one of the most successful make-up artists of her generation,” she has worked on shoots with Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Karl Lagerfeld and Terry Richardson and has been lead-artist at Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries van Noten, Kenzo and many many other shows. Her very own make-up line appeared on shelves in 2009 including at Skins in Amsterdam.

And now, another important moment for her resume, she’s designed a lip-set exclusively for net-a-porter. The products were inspired by a balmy summer’s day and are made up of three different colours and materials. Milky Lips L207, is a nude pink with lots of pigment for a super light look and feel. Then there is the Glazed Lips L304 (a subtle transparent orange shine) and the Hot Lips L401 (bright red).

All are paraben free as expected, all have a moisturising effect and none are tested on animals. “These products are only tested on Supermodels,” and that is exactly what we like to hear. Feeling covetous? The set is available here.
