5 MINUTE HAIRSTYLES
Monday morning is a guaranteed stress moment. After the slow-paced weekend it takes a while to shift to work mode. Stress means rushing and rushing means little time in front of the mirror. Which means a bad hair day at the office. So for these hasty Mondays and maybe even Tuesdays here’s 5 quick good-looking hairstyles that will take 5 minutes.
Top bun
Dunk and score of course but a top bun is the easiest of them all. It’s suppose to be nonchalant and a bit messy. You can even pull out a few strands. You can do a little backcombing first. It will get even messier and will look fuller.
Half a braid
If you’re not that good at braiding this is a great way to throw in the towel. Make a few braids, stop and bind them together with a transparent elastic band. Doesn’t take as long as a whole braid and looks sassy.
Creative bobbies
Throw your hair back and create a nice shape using bobby pins. People will think this has taken you hours while it only took you a few minutes. Plus your hair is expertly secured.
Braided together
Braids can look ingeniously complicated but you can just make two braids and fasten them together at the back. An easy DIY and it looks the part.
Long ponytail
Sounds easy but you have to make sure your hair is anti-static. First brush your hair and straighten it (this will take a few minutes) then make a low ponytail. Wind a strand of hair around your ponytail to cover up the elastic band. For some extra volume pull up the hair directly above the elastic, it will give it a lift.
Messy low bun
If you want a cool look, dirty and unbrushed hair is permitted. You can go wild or make it worse then neatly tie everything into a low bun. Chaos resolved.
Braids
Braids always work well. Even a small loose one here or there will show you put in some effort to look your best.
