8 TIPS for a longer lasting phone battery

When you’re phone dies and there is no charger in sight, odds are, you’re going to panic. I happen to be known for never ever having a charged phone and so dead phone + no charger = inaccessible. It’s a drag and therefore time to dig into the world of phone batteries and how to get them to last longer.

– Let’s start off with inserting your charger into you phone when you go to bed at night. Now I know what you might be thinking, duhhh, but sometimes I am way too lazy to do this. I know I know, my own fault.

– Dim the brightness of your phone to the lowest stance. Just go to: settings, displays & brightness.

– Nowadays you can find an energy saving function on your phone. There are certain functions you can turn off that’ll make your battery last longer. Go to: settings, battery, and turn on the low power mode.

– Turn off Bluetooth if you don’t need it. Bluetooth inhales battery power like its nobody’s business.

– It’s always useful to turn on the ‘do not disturb’ mode on your phone when you don’t need it. During a meeting or when you’re at the gym for example.

– Buy a Juice Pack. It’s one of those extra batteries you can attach to your phone that looks like a phone case. Extremely useful. Just make sure you charge it beforehand.

– Turn off all your apps. Double tap the home button and swipe all your apps to the top.

– And oh yeah, spend less time checking out Facebook and Instagram. Those things drain batteries like none other.
