Fish bun

I’ll admit it, this might be the hardest one of the bunch. Maybe it’s because I have a hard time braiding my own hair with the fish tail technique, let alone someone else’s. You might just want to kindly ask a friend or a colleague to help you out.

Aaaand here’s the same message I always deliver: prep your hair. The texture your hair gets will help keep the braid in tact and secure. So something like a beach hair spray is essential.

Put your hair up in a high pony tail and braid it with the fish tail technique.

Once you’ve braided your hair all the way down to the end, twirl it up into a bun and secure it with bobby pins. Feel free to pull out a few hairs to give it a messier edge.

Finish it off with a bit of hair spray so it’ll all stay in place.
