Celebs and cellulite

A laugh wrinkle can be charming, a grey hair distinguishing, a curvy body is often super sexy but there’s really not much we can say for cellulite. It’s an ill comfort that most women have to deal with in some shape or form. And gorgeous Hollywood stars are no exception. Granting all this we still see them hopping around on the beach all tight and perky. What’s their secret?

Food

If you ask Gwyneth Paltrow you have to follow the organic food path to get smooth buttocks. The green goddess suffered heavily from cellulite after her pregnancy. She fought long and hard, her top artillery being organic food. It won’t surprise you she stays well away from everything that’s pre-packed and not organic. “The idea is to keep toxics out of your body so the dimples don’t have anything to hold on to.”

Kate Winslet specifically blames wheat and alcohol if her thighs start getting lumpy. Wine, beer, bread and pasta are taboo.

workout

Being dynamic is very important. Kim Cattrall says Pilates is her secret weapon against cellulite.

According to celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson there is no secret. You just have to work hard. Workout 6 times a week, preferably a combination of weight training and cardio, and your cellulite will disappear.

rub a dub dub

A lot of greasing and rubbing takes place in the cellulite area. Jennifer Aniston regularly undergoes an anti-cellulite body wrap to tighten her skin. The ingredients are caffeine, mud and herbs.

Khloe Kardashian gave us her remedy for stretch marks in a recent interview: a cream her sister Kourtney used when breastfeeding. The pregnancy tube by Mama Mio contains avocado oil and Shea butter and apparently does wonders for the skin. Khloe is never without.

Machines & massages

Mesotherapy, Veloshape and LPG. Cosmetic clinics offer all kinds of solutions for cellulite with the help of special machines using needles, sound waves or deep tissue massages to treat fat concentrations.

Body Sculpture goes beyond all that. Deep and intensive massages that dissolve the binding fat cells and exude them. This special technique comes from Hollywood and was brought to Europe by David of the Chill Out Spa in Amsterdam. A three-week treatment removes 70%-90% of the cellulite and you even lose centimeters.
