Holistisc dog restaurant opens in London

Life is unfair and in the animal world things aren’t any different. Some dogs waste their lives in kennels with a can of tripe, others lead a life of luxury sleep on Gucci-pillows and are taken out to dinner to a dog restaurant.

The later is scheduled for coming weekend as a special holistic pop-up restaurant is about to open it’s doors in Shoreditch, London. The Curious Canine Kitchen will serve five course meals, prepared with the very best ingredients to please our four-legged friends. Think seaweed and kale purée to start off, followed by a main consisting of mushroom and linseed mouse, and for desert it’s coconut-blackberry pudding with gluten free cinnamon quinoa. There’s a diversity of drinks to choose from: alkaline water, beef consommé or coconut water. For a digestive the pooch can expect marrowbone with herbal tea, good for the teeth.

Dog owners have their own culinary menu and can be seated beside their pets at made to measure dog tables.

While we secretly might look forward to a luxurious evening out with our doggy, it does have a decedent edge  that causes some uneasiness.

Thank goodness this whole doggy happening is set up as a charity event with 100% of the profits going to Amazon CARES, an organization dedicated to street dogs and –cats in Peru. If you and Fifi happen to find yourselves in London this weekend and you’re both in for a good bite, for £20 per dog you can dig in.
